Incredible Inchcape / Inchcape / Line Up

Inchcape is a leading international automotive distributor and retailer operating in 26 global markets, with a history of more than 170 years of successful international trade experience.

Incredible Inchcape brought the Senior Management team to the Fairmont Hotel, St. Andrews, for a 3 day event during April 2012. With the purpose to fully immerse the audience in the companies rich history, heritage and future business strategies.

Using the premise; making a movie. The Fairmont Hotel was transformed into a movie set using authentic cameras, lighting rigs and props. Using a forty seven metre screen and nine 1080p HD projectors, the main auditorium was transformed into a fully immersive video environment.

0732 was commissioned by Lineup to create 20 looping Motion Graphics animations. We created multiple environments using corporate branding and specific speaker session themes. Technical challenges were posed by the size of animations required and the complexity of the projection using Watchout. Video needed to integrate seamlessly with PowerPoint presentations allowing onsite flexibility for speaker content.

The lighthouse situated 13 miles off St. Andrews, built on The Inchcape Rock, represents the companies values and has long been there corporate symbol. 0732 Design Studios modelled a scale replica, using technical drawings and aerial photographs. This was textured and composited into four different lighting states, representing different times of the day and night. Creating realistic ocean and atmospheric states was essential to further enhance the audiences experience.
